Eddie Black
Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Eddie's passion has mainly been with music, entertainment, songwriting and performing in bands. Eddie was exposed to and grew up listening to all types of music, from oldies to classic rock, alternative, country and blues. At an early age he started taking an interest in music and learned to play the saxophone, guitar and bass. During his teen years Eddie started to form his own bands. Ever since, he's worked with many talented bands and artists throughout Alberta. Eddie enjoys writing meaningful lyrics and composing great music to lift and inspire the lives of others. He believes that by sharing his music with those who need it most is truly a privilege. Eddie also happens to be a music instructor, teaching guitar and bass lessons to many new striving musicians in Calgary.
Eddie is optimistic person with a big passion and dedication to his music. Eddie's songs have a story all their own which contain emotional lyrics with catchy melodies added with his own energizing style, big guitar sounds and driving bass, which you will enjoy listening to over and over. Eddie's music keeps you rockin' and entertained.
October - December 2001
Eddie wrote and produced three professional music instrumentals and signed a license agreement with Aurora Publishing in Canada for their Authors audio books.
2001 - 2002
Eddie was the bassist for the band Deep End.
On April 2003
Eddie released his first debut solo album; Eddie B -18 Years After.
In 2006
Eddie was a bassist for Canadian Country Recording Artist Kelly Miller.
In 2007
Eddie was a lead guitarist the for Canadian/Nashville recording artist JOELLE, who worked with world renowned producer Chris Omartian (HILARY DUFF, PINK).
April 12, 2008
Eddie founded a talented music group and created the project Atomic Aura. On the same day his band passed an audition with a local Calgary Radio "Station 98.5 FM for a $ 100,000 Star Search Contest.
May 31, 2008
Atomic Aura moves on to the semi-finals in the Vibe 98.5 $100,000 Star Search Contest. The band received outstanding reviews and positivie feedback from all the judges in attendance, including the vibe 98 station judge's and a representative from Universal Music.
July 1st, 2009
Canada Day, Eddie's band Atomic Aura was to open for Collective Soul. After competing in Cowboys Star Search Contest for several weeks and being announced the winners of the event, were only to be let down after receiving an email by management that they were not to perform and open for the Collective Soul band.

Eddie's band, Atomic Aura was featured as the headling band to open for Supernova's Summer Warfare tour in Calgary.
The Year 2009
Eddie has achieved alot of success with his music project, "Atomic Aura". Unfortunely Atomic Aura is on definite hiatus until further notice... Eddie will continue to search for like-minded people in the music industry, to continue the pursuit of his goals and better things to come in 2010.
Ausust 30, 2010
Eddie's long awaited latest solo adventure is a blend of energizing music with electronic, dance & techno groove. He self-produced the album Diffusion with thirteen great listening tracks, with his favourites entitled; Waiting For You and Berlin Mix. The Album has been digital released through Ditto Music and under Sound Patrol Records in the UK. The Album is available on iTunes and over 300 retailers world wide.
